The New York Times Features End Demand's New Law
Sunday's issue of The New York Times featured a story about the new End Demand Illinois legislation that passed recently, Justice for Victims of Sex Trafficking Crimes. Journalist Meribah Knight interviewed Kennette Thomas, a survivor leader with the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) who traveled to Springfield, Illinois to lobby for the bill. Daria Mueller, Associate Director of State Affairs for CCH and Lynne Johnson, Policy and Advocacy Director for the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation are also quoted in the piece.
